We were living at the time on our horse ranch in a wonderful house on beautiful wooded property, with great neighbors up and down the road. I was walking back from the barn to the house one morning, and as I walked along the pathway this spring day by the lake, there was a gentle breeze blowing through the trees, and the ducks were still down from the north. I said to God, Lord I don’t really understand. Why would you want us to move --now? –We were so blessed to be able to lead, share and fellowship with a group God used us to begin in the area—we all called it—Juliff Cowboy Church. It was a very special time------Where is there better than here?

This is what I heard in my spirit. “You must keep walking down the path in order to experience all that I have for you, for if I gave all of it to you at one time, you wouldn’t be able to enjoy any of it.”

Our journey here, or our walk through life, is given to us by God, and He has many things and plans for us. He had begun to nudge my husband and me to sell and move, ---where-- we didn’t know. Why—we didn’t know. However after that word from Him, I knew—we both did—that God was nudging us into the next phase of the path He had us on.

We have moved—and moved again, but there is one thing that I can say for sure and that is that the answer to my question “where is there better than here?”—is—Wherever God is going next!

The picture chosen for the cover here was taken ‘by accident’. I was walking outside of a restaurant and must have pressed my phone somehow. I think God took it. The shoes I had on remind me of his, and the path looks like many Biblical pictures we have all seen in Bible stories. Kind of weird---

The fact is, we are all on a path, if not God’s, it is the wrong one. We don’t want to be on one He is not on. He has a plan for our lives—you could call it a path, but the most awesome thing about it is—you were made for it—His path is what you were perfectly made for, and He wants to give you all the power and knowledge for it that you will need. There will be much you will not know or understand as you travel it, but that’s perfect. He just wants us to walk and listen for His Holy Spirit to guide us—down the path of our—daily walk.—with Him—a path we would never want to miss.
